Tile Adhesive Silver Star is a cement based general tile adhesive. It contains highest grade of graded sand, cement, selected fillers, polymers and chemical additives to give it unique properties. It’s a general purpose tile adhesive, for ceramic tile, tile on tile for wall and flooring application.

METHOD OF USAGE
SURFACE PREPARATION:
- Clean loose particles, dirt, grease and traces of foreign material from the surface, if necessary by using wire brush/sand paper or by chipping
- Floor Surface where tile has to be fixed should be of concrete base, properly cured, leveled and free of cracks.
- For loose plaster areas, remove the defective material and re-plaster the area with Sarwinplast Ready-Mix Plaster.
- For ceiling/wall, which is not even, re-plaster it with Sarwinplast Ready-Mix Plaster to make them even.
- If any cracks in base plaster, fill it by using Sarwinplast Crack Filler.
MIXING:
- Take 250-300 ml of clean water for 1 kg Sarwinplast Tile Adhesive Silver Star in a clean bucket and. (It is very important that Sarwinplast Tile Adhesive Silver Star to be added in water and not vice versa).
- Stir continuously with the help of a mechanical mixer or by hand to obtain a homogenous lump-free creamy like butter paste.
- Allow the resultant paste to stand for about 5 minutes for all the additives to dissolve completely
- Re-mix again for about 2 minutes. The paste is now ready for application
- Use the prepared mix within 30 minutes.
APPLICATION:
- Dampen the surface with clean water, Allow excess water to drain off.
- With the help of notched trowel remove excess material and apply the above paste to a thickness of 3-5 mm on the wall. (Paste is not supposed to applied on back of the tile)
- Put the tile in place and tap it gently with the help of a wooden hammer
- Remove excess mixture from the tiles by using a damp cloth or a sponge.
- For vertical areas applications, tiling should start from bottom to top.
PRECAUTIONS:
Sarwinplast Tile Adhesive Silver Star is non-toxic and Non-hazardous. Use of gloves, dust-mask and goggles is recommended. In case of contact with skin/eyes, wash with plenty of clean water. In situation of prolonged irritation, professional medical aid should be sought and strictly recommended to keep it out of children reach

Note:
Do not use Sarwinplast Tile Adhesive Silver Star directly on hydrated limes, plasterboard, plywood /timber, glass, metals, plastic, or any paint substrates.
