Aluminium powder along with flyash, cement, lime and gypsum is mixed in high speed and Automatic batch mixer resulting in AAC slurry, with is poured in to mould. Reaction of Aluminum with lime, water, silica releases hydrogen gas (H2) when escapes from slurry, it rises to give porous structured to calcium silica Hydrate ( C-S-H, Concrete.) This risen cake is cut in to blocks of require sizes by wire cutting machine, which are again steam cured under high temperature 210*C and pressure 12kg. In autoclave for 10 to 12 hours. AAC is a long proven material. AAC blocks are used in a wide range of Commercial, industrial and Residential application and has been in use in Europe over 19 Years, the Middle East for the past 40 Years and in America and Australia for 25 Years. Its an estimate that AAC now account for over 40% of all construction in UK and more than 60% of construction in Germany. In India production of AAC blocks started in 1972.

How AAC Blocks Save The Cost Of ConstructionSave steel and Concrete
AAC blocks save Steel, Concrete, Sand, Internal Plaster, Curing and reduce the thickness of External Plaster. It is 3 times lighter than Clay bricks, hence it saves steel and concrete in high rise building. It does not allow water to pass in to the wall, so internal sand cement plaster is not necessary, only POP plaster is enough.Save Sand and Water
AAC blocks require only 3 mm joint for using readymade joint adhesive. So it saves costly sand. Brixwel blocks already have high pressure steam curing. So there is no need of curing. Thus it saves water and curing labour cost etc.Increase in carpet Area
Wall made by AAC blocks has accurate size and shape, less number of joints and thickness. Hence it saves 15 to 20 mm space of plaster through out length of every wall of room. So increase in carpet area by 1.5 to 3%. It also has more compressive strength than clay bricks and does not absorb the water so no need to plaster the wall from inside by sand and cement.Time Saving and Reduced man power
AAC blocks are light weight (3 times ) and 5 to 6 times bigger in size than clay bricks. So it reduces the number of joints and its thickness and ultimately saves time as compare to clay bricks. Its needs less man power to constrict a building which in turn helps to reduce the construction cost.
